Washingtonia robusta is a massive and majestic palm, easily recognized through its characteristics solid trunk and crown and one of the most widespread of all ornamental plants. The crown of a mature palm: it is round, symmetrical, loose and open with a maximum of 30 leaves with a span of 4.5 m.
